Meet the GMC Sierra 1500

The 2024 model has already secured a Five-Star safety rating with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The GMC Sierra 1500’s sturdy construction, excellent performance, incredible power, and spacious interior make it stand apart from its competition.

Its perfectly engineered and finely tuned independent, coil-over-shock front suspension is married with a semi-elliptic multi-leaf spring rear suspension. This innovative design element is combined with a high-strength, steel, body-on-frame rolling chassis that provides excellent handling and control while allowing the Sierra 1500 to handle any terrain.

GMC Sierra 1500 Pro

The Pro is the base model for the GMC Sierra. Powered by a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder TurboMax™ engine and eight-speed automatic transmission, this impressive powertrain generates 310 horsepower and 430 pound-foot of torque while carrying a payload of 2070 pounds with a maximum towing capacity of 9,500 pounds.

LED headlamps, daytime running lamps, taillamps, blind spot monitoring, lane-keep assist and departure warning, automatic emergency braking, heated mirrors, a six-speaker stereo system, a 7-inch infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, Android Auto, USB ports, and multiple driver assist, and safety assist features are standard.

GMC Sierra 1500 SLE

The SLE is powered by the same 2.7-liter TurboMax™ engine and carries over all the basics of the Pro trim. However, it replaces the 7-inch touchscreen with the introduction of a well-designed 13.4-inch diagonal, multi-color digital infotainment and navigation system, as well as an impressive 12.3-inch driver information cluster.

Other additional features of the SLE include a rearview trailer hitch camera system, remote start, keyless entry, cruise control, heated front seats, and a multi-color digital instrument cluster.

GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation

The Elevation includes the same engine configuration as the Pro and SLE. Still, it introduces 20-inch wheels, premium cloth upholstery, foglights, and the industry’s first six-function MultiPro™ tailgate that dramatically improves loading and unloading. It also ensures a monochrome color exterior where the color of the grille and front fascia perfectly match the truck’s exterior paint.

GMC Sierra 1500 SLT

The SLT introduces the 5.3-liter V8 engine (355 hp / 383 lb-ft of torque) while upgrading the interior with all-leather upholstery, memory seating, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers and 18-inch chrome-accented wheels.

GMC Sierra AT4

The powerful 3.0-liter V6 Duramax® turbodiesel (305 hp / 495 lb-ft of torque) is introduced with the AT4. Additional add-ons include an automatic locking rear differential, a CarbonPro™ composite material bed, undercarriage skid plates, Rancho® Monotube shocks, and off-road optimized suspension.

GMC Sierra AT4X

The off-road variant AT4X has the same 3.0-liter V6 Duramax® turbodiesel and all the bells and whistles of the AT4. However, it upgrades the suspension performance with its Multimatic™ Dynamic Suspensions Spool Valve (DSSV) dampers. Also included are front and rear locking differentials, a boron steel approach skid plate, a high-impact, recreational AEV front bumper, and front winch capability.

GMC Sierra Denali

The GMC Sierra Denali introduces the 6.2-liter V8 (420 hp / 460 lb-ft) alongside a 10-speed automatic transmission. The refined interior is accentuated by open-poor wood paneling, aluminum trim, and all-leather seating. This is the high-end luxury model that comes with a revamped Denali grille and chrome accents as well as Super Cruise™ and hands-free driver technology.

GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate

With the same 6.2-liter V8, the Denali Ultimate distinguishes itself with GMC’s exclusive signature Denali chrome grille and eye-catching 22-inch aluminum wheels with seven chrome accented spokes. The Sierra Denali Ultimate is marketed as the most opulent, luxurious trim with an upgraded 12-speaker Bose® premium center-point sound system and heated 16-way front seats with power massage.
