The 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD receives a new, larger grille design and bolder front styling. Two powerful turbo-diesel engine options return, including a 6.6L V8 with 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque. Towing capacity is an incredible 18,500 lbs when properly equipped. Fuel economy sees a slight improvement to around 15 MPG combined.
An 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is now standard. Available technologies include a 15-inch heads-up display, rear camera mirror, and a multi-color 15-inch diagonal HD cluster display. New for 2024 is an Advanced Trailering System with an in-vehicle app to monitor trailer systems. Safety features include front/rear park assist, lane change alert, and side blind zone alert.
The Sierra 2500 HD has an imposing, bold design fitting its heavy-duty capabilities. The interior provides upscale amenities with leather seats, accent stitching and soft-touch materials on higher trims. Single rear wheel and dual rear wheel models are offered, along with regular, double and crew cab configurations. Exterior color choices include summit white, carbon black metallic and cherry red tintcoat.
