The GMC Terrain comes with standard equipment, which includes front- or all-wheel drive, a nine-speed automatic transmission, and a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. New for 2024 are two new exterior paint colors – Downpour Metallic and Riptide Metallic. Estimated *EPA fuel economy is a combined 25 MPG to 26 MPG depending on AWD or FWD.
While cruising around Waterloo, IA, the Terrain has plenty of infotainment features. Depending on the trim, the SUV features easy-to-operate systems, such as an in-dash navigation system, and a head-up display, which uses a pop-up panel vs the windshield for displays. The Terrain was recognized for its safety and technology by U.S. News & World Report, and named Green Car of the Year by the Green Car Journal.
