Having my Buick serviced at Community is always a relief to me, the staff is always kind, efficient, willing to explain more than once what the problems is and to have someone answer all of my concerns. That being said, I feel the makers of the Buick SUV's should consider that not every person who owns one of their vehicles lives and only drives on a paved road. Some of us live on gravel, or when driving on a paved road there may be debris that can be hit and cause a problem--such as I had a broken wire that worked the side detection system. The location of that wire was (I was told by the technician)is under the rear bumper and possibly a rock was kicked up-caused a hole into the area that housed the wires, the wire broke, was corroded, and there was water in the area. Well the extended warranty does not cover a problem such as that and I had a sizable service and parts fee to pay. Maybe consider designing vehicles so that may be less of a problem or not a problem at all. It is really frustrating to pay for an extended warranty and find it does not cover problems like this-should this even be a problem at all??????????

We had an issue on our way home from South Dakota. 600 miles from home the emissions system began shutting the truck down. Called the dealership, said we are trying to get to them and they said we get you in and would be watching for us. The problem was a broken wire which they repaired and had us on the road in under 2 hours. Great service and staff.
